Pakistan cricket board chairman and Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi was snubbed by India after the U19 Asia Cup final on Sunday, December 21. Naqvi handed the trophy to Pakistan after they defeated India in the final and went on to pose with the team for their celebration picture along with the support staff.
Pakistan were at their best against India as they posted 347 runs in the first innings thanks to Sameer Minhas' 172. India got off to a flyer in their run chase thanks to Vaibhav Suryvanshi, but the innings soon fell apart. Indian batters failed under the pressure of the final, with Suryavanshi also having a bad day at the office.
India ultimately crumbled for 156 runs as Pakistan recorded a 191-run win to secure the title. Naqvi arrived in Dubai while the final was in progress, and he proceeded to be alongside the dignitaries for the presentation. The Indian players decided not to share the stage with Naqvi and collected their medals from another dignitary, away from the main dials where the PCB chief was standing.
Naqvi gave away the winners' medals to the Pakistan players and handed captain Farhan Yousaf. The PCB chief was then pictured being with the players and the team management who celebrated the famous win and posed for pictures with them.
Naqvi was also on the field earlier while the Pakistan players were on their victory lap. You can see the video below:

Naqvi has been the centre of attraction in continental tournaments following the fiasco after the senior men's Asia Cup final involving India and Pakistan. The Indian players snubbed the ACC chief and not accept the trophy from him, which made Naqvi to take away the title from the winners.
The tussle to retain the Asia Cup still goes on, while Naqvi presented the Rising Stars Asia Cup and U19 Asia Cup crowns to the Pakistan team.
