The last week saw several major cricket contests being played simultaneously. New Zealand and South Africa completed their women’s and men’s T20I series, following which the women began an ODI series where New Zealand pulled off a record chase. And in the Caribbean, Australia Women have not really been troubled by the West Indies.

Elsewhere, the latest editions of the PSL and then the IPL both went underway, while the County Championship will begin on April 3, marking the start of the summer. In the Southern Hemisphere, the Sheffield Shield and the Plunket Shield both concluded, as did the One Day Cup in South Africa.
