RCB vs CSK IPL 2026: During the high-octane clash between two of the best teams of this tournament, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star bowler Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has scripted history. In the match, which is being held at the M Chinnaswamy on Sunday, the star fast bowler took his 200th wicket of this tournament and became the first pacer in the history of the IPL to have achieved this milestone.
He took this historic wicket in the second innings as Bhuvaneshwar spearheaded the Bengaluru-based franchise's bowling attack and is helping the team defend a mammoth 250-run target. He took Ayush Mhatre's wicket to achieve this feat.
Knowing that Mhatre would try to go big to match the asking rate, he bowled a lengthy delivery that went outside off.
By achieving this milestone during his 192nd match, Bhuvaneshwar has also joined an elite list that also includes the legendary spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal.
