North Runcton Cricket Club will bid to complete a memorable season when they travel to Woolpit in the East Anglian Premier League promotion play-off final on Saturday, September 19.

The match, which begins at 11am, will decide which side earns a place in the top flight, with both teams set to wear coloured kits for the season-defining contest.

Norfolk Alliance Premier Division champions North Runcton have enjoyed an impressive campaign and will go into the final determined to cap their progress with promotion to the region’s top level of recreational club cricket.

Their hosts, Woolpit, arrive as 2026 Division One champions of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Cricket Championship after completing an unbeaten league campaign.

That record makes Woolpit formidable opposition, but North Runcton have demonstrated their own quality throughout the season and hope to go one step further after losing to Ramsey in last season’s final.
