Their victory over Eldwick & Gilstead by seven wickets on Saturday took them to 307 points.

They have the chance to add another 20 points with a maximum-points win at Sutton this weekend.

In 2024, Gargrave won the title with 281 points, but this year’s potential 327 falls short of Bingley Congs’ record of 416 points in 2022.

Eldwick & Gilstead, after being asked to bat, were all out for 99 in 28 overs.

Gargrave’s George Beckwith, Ben Howlett, and Will Smith took the wickets, with Beckwith claiming five.

All five Gargrave batters reached double figures, with Joe Wood top-scoring with an unbeaten 27, securing a seven-wicket win by the end of the 28th over.

In other matches, second-placed Silsden secured a comfortable victory at Glusburn, scoring 265-7 after winning the toss.

Tom Leach and Mohsan Gulbhar contributed significantly with scores of 60 and 52, respectively.

Despite a rapid 33 from Ryan Ridehalgh opening for Glusburn, they were dismissed for 173.

Their seven points from the match bring them closer to fifth-placed Cowling, now trailing by just two points.

Cowling suffered a heavy defeat at home to Hepworth & Idle, who scored 267 after winning the toss.

Only Seth Wilkinson and Danish Hameed made it into double figures for Cowling, as they were bowled out for 92 inside 28 overs.

Elsewhere, Sutton were outplayed at Airedale, who scored 212-4 after being asked to bat.

Sutton were toppled for 78, with Caleb Gledhill top-scoring with 24.

As the season wraps up, Gargrave will finish at Haworth, Cowling will face Eldwick & Gilstead, Silsden will host Riddlesden, and Glusburn will conclude with a derby at Sutton.

In Division Two, Thornton-in-Craven and Long Lee are level in second on 228 points ahead of the final matches.

Thornton-in-Craven posted 191-6 at home to Ingrow, with Jonny Martin and Tom Cleaver putting on a 54-run opening stand.

Ingrow were dismissed for 105, with Ian Holden taking 5-31 and Martin 4-31.

In a low-scoring affair, Silsden II defeated Cononley at Keighley Road.

Cononley were dismissed for 68, with five ducks in their innings, and Silsden II now fourth in the table on 216 points.

Runs were hard to come by at Skipton CI, who were dismissed for 99 in reply to Bradley’s 115.

Gargrave II scored 233 at leaders Wilsden, with Adam Carroll and Dom Ferneyhough putting on a 70-run stand for the seventh wicket.

Wilsden won by four wickets with 2.2 overs to spare.

In Division Three, Sutton II breezed to an eight-wicket win at home to Skipton CI II, who made 161 after being asked to bat.

Sutton captain Craig Thornton made 73 not out as his team won by eight wickets at the end of the 40th over.

Cowling II were dismissed for 160 at Hepworth & Idle, who scored 242-9 after being sent in.

Bottom-of-the-table Glusburn II were dismissed for 76 after being asked to bat at Menston IV, who won by seven wickets in the 26th over.

Glusburn II will host Sutton II on Saturday, with CI II at home to Hepworth & Idle II, while Cowling II will host champions Denholme.
