Quiz! Every instance of two batters scoring two hundreds each in a Test

wisden.com NaN days ago

In this quiz, you have to list all instances of two batters scoring two hundreds each in a Test match.

Warren Bardsley’s 136 and 130 at The Oval in the 1909 Ashes was the only instance of a batter hitting a hundred in each innings of a Test match. Between the Wars, five others did this (though Herbert Sutcliffe and George Headley hit twin tons on two separate occasions).

Two hundreds by a batter in a Test has, thus, been a remarkable feat. Two batters doing it in the same Test match is extremely rare. There was an instance immediately after the Second World War, but only two others until 2014. In that year, there were two additions to the list, while the current decade has also contributed.

In this quiz, we have listed the Test matches where such instances have taken place. We have given the teams, venues, and years: all you have to do is name the batter. There were seven instances until December 21, 2025, so you have to name 14 batters in three minutes.
