The game was played on Tuesday, July 14, in Pembroke Dock.

Lawrenny won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 160-7 in their 22 overs.

Harry Thomas scored 30 for Lawrenny, with fellow opener Finley Lewis scoring 20.

Joe Kidney added 24, but wickets from Shaun Whitfield and Noah Davies held up Lawrenny’s momentum.

Will Nicholas scored 11, and Rhys Eynon added 14, but both were run out.

Will Allen hit one four and three sixes to finish unbeaten on 38 to set Carew 161 to win.

Carew lost Shaun Whitfield on the first ball of their reply as he was bowled by Ryan Morton.

Morton also trapped Noah Davies LBW soon after, but scores of 20 from Morgan Grieve and Gareth Lewis helped rebuild their innings.

However, Morton returned to take their wickets before also dismissing Tim Hicks to leave Carew on 61-5.

Ian Sefton and Brian Hall led Carew’s recovery, sharing 74 runs for the seventh wicket.

The game then changed in the 20th over with three wickets falling in the space of four balls. Sefton had reached a score of 31, but he was run out. With the next ball, Noah Williams had Iori Hicks caught by Finley Lewis.

James Hinchliffe took a single off the next ball, but Brian Hall was then caught by Joe Kidney on a score of 41.

That left them on 136-8, needing 25 from the final two overs.

Hinchliffe hit two fours, but another wicket for Finley Lewis all but sealed the win for Lawrenny. Rhys Davies hit a late four, but Carew finished six runs short on 154-9.

The 2026 Harrison Allen Bowl final will take place on Saturday, August 29, in Cresselly.
