Shafaqat Ali led the way with an explosive innings at the top of the order that saw him hammer 61 from just 36 balls, while James Robson weighed in with 59, Hunter Jackson-Sullivan 44, Nick Curtis Firth 36 and Greg Keywood 29no.

Muhammed Sudais and Adam Zahid took three wickets each, but Scholes’ 315 total was always going to take some chasing and Crossbank were well short, all out for 133 as Keywood claimed 3-28 and Christian Jackson 4-30.

Closest finish in the division came at Cemetery Road where Liversedge pulled off a one-wicket victory over Heckmondwike & Carlinghow.

The home side posted 262 thanks to Wajid Hussain's 81, Ovais Hussain's 45 and contributions of 39 from both Mustafa Bhatti and Umaid Sajjad, while Asad Mahmood and Hasan Hafeez each took four wickets.

Liversedge's chase was given a great start by openers Matthew Crowther (84) and Hamzah Hafeez (53) before Wasim Nazir's 39 kept them on course.

Despite Muhammad Shahnawaz claiming 5-68, Liversedge held their nerve to get over the line with just two balls remaining.

Cleckheaton failed by 17 runs in a run chase against Methley in the Premier Division.

After their opponents made 273-7, with Jack Luxton taking 3-85, Cleck had a good go at reaching their target, but ended on 256-9 despite contributions from Ethan Lee (51), Hisan Ahmad (34) and Luxton (29).

Spen Victoria continued their winning run in Division Two with a six-wicket success at Gomersal.

Haris Mahmood’s battling 83 proved in vain as Gomersal were dismissed for 170 and Spen comfortably reached their target with Corey Roebuck hitting 17 fours in a knock of 81 and Oliver Davison hitting 38.

Hartshead Moor were bowled out for just 79 and although Moin Hussain took 3-21 they lost by five wickets to Hunslet Nelson.
