Ahmedabad, April 5: In an exciting clash at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Gujarat Titans faced off against Rajasthan Royals in the ninth match of IPL 2026. Dhruv Jurail delivered a stunning performance for Rajasthan, scoring 75 runs off 42 balls.

This innings marked Jurail’s highest score in T20 cricket. He showcased excellent form, striking at a rate of 178, hitting 5 fours and 5 sixes. Partnering with Yashasvi Jaiswal, he contributed to a crucial second-wicket partnership of 56 runs off 37 balls. In the final overs, he teamed up with Ravindra Jadeja to add 39 runs in just 20 balls, helping Rajasthan Royals post a total of 210 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs.

Jurail started slowly but once settled, he put pressure on the Gujarat bowlers. Yashasvi Jaiswal also made a significant contribution, scoring 55 runs off 36 balls. Rajasthan’s captain, Riyan Parag, won the toss and opted to bat first.

This decision was validated by the opening pair of Vaibhav Suryaanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who put together 70 runs for the first wicket in just 6.2 overs. Vaibhav scored 31 runs off 18 balls, maintaining a strike rate of 172, with 5 fours and a six. Shimron Hetmyer added 18 runs off 8 balls, while Ravindra Jadeja remained not out with 7 runs.

The Gujarat Titans’ pace attack struggled against the Rajasthan batsmen. Mohammed Siraj managed to take only one wicket while conceding 48 runs in his 4 overs. Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets for 42 runs in 4 overs, while Prasidh Krishna gave away 43 runs and took one wicket.
