Only the top four teams on the League 2 standings will earn a place in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier event and Nepal need to continue their good  recent form if they are to stay in contention.

The side registered six victories from eight matches across two tri-series on home soil to climb to fifth on the standings and further strengthened those efforts with an unbeaten run at the recent Asian Games Qualifier event in Singapore.

Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel knows the importance of the tri-series in the Netherlands and wants his side to continue their winning form when they take on the Namibia in Utrecht on Tuesday. 

"Our ultimate goal is to play in the ODI World Cup, and our approach reflects that ambition," Paudel said recently.
