JioStar has acquired the linear and digital broadcast rights for the 2026 edition of The Hundred in India from official rights holder Sony Pictures Networks India. The Men’s and Women’s competitions will be available exclusively on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.

The sixth edition of the tournament begins July 21 with a double-header at The Oval. MI London will face SunRisers Leeds in the Women’s competition at 7:15 pm IST, followed by the Men’s match between the two teams at 11 pm IST.

The Hundred, organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board, features eight city-based franchises across the United Kingdom. Several teams have new identities this season following an ownership restructuring. Oval Invincibles have rebranded as MI London, Northern Superchargers as SunRisers Leeds and Manchester Originals as Manchester Super Giants.

The Men’s competition will feature players including Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, Heinrich Klaasen, Phil Salt, Tim David, David Miller and Harry Brook. MI London enters the tournament as the three-time defending Men’s champion.

The Women’s competition will feature several Indian players, including Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh for Manchester Super Giants, Deepti Sharma for SunRisers Leeds and Jemimah Rodrigues for Southern Brave. Kiran Navgire, Shweta Sehrawat, Asha Sobhana and Nandani Sharma will also feature for London Spirit, MI London, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire, respectively.

Speaking about the acquisition, Prashant Khanna, Head of Rights & Innovation for Sports, JioStar, said, "The Hundred has established itself as one of the most innovative cricket competitions in the world, bringing together world-class talent in a format designed to entertain and attract new audiences. We are delighted to bring the tournament exclusively to fans in India across JioHotstar and Star Sports.
