KSI opens up on Anthony Joshua conversation about Jake Paul during Chisora vs Wilder
KSI played a visible role in the Deontay Wilder vs Derek Chisora event, with Misfits Boxing promoting the card under its new Misfits Pro banner. The event marked a notable expansion for the crossover boxing brand.
Anthony Joshua was also in attendance alongside promoter Eddie Hearn. His presence added further intrigue, particularly given his links to several figures across both traditional and influencer boxing.
That included Jake Paul, who has long been connected to both Joshua and KSI in different ways. And ‘The Problem Child’ became a talking point between those two.
KSI thanks Anthony Joshua for Jake Paul fight during Wilder vs Chisora event
KSI revealed he spoke with Joshua about his fight against Paul. Speaking to Radio Rahim on Misfits’ YouTube channel, he did not hide his feelings on the matter.
“I thanked him heavily for that. Fantastic work. Especially breaking his jaw. Yeah, f— him,” KSI revealed.
The comments reflect a long-standing rivalry between KSI and Paul. A fight between the two had been widely discussed for years but never came to fruition.
KSI faced his brother Logan Paul twice, recording a draw in their first meeting before winning the rematch. Despite that history, his issues with Jake Paul have remained unresolved.
KSI previously turned down major offer to fight Jake Paul
Last January, KSI claimed he rejected a lucrative opportunity to face Paul. The 32-year-old allegedly turned down a $30 million offer during negotiations.
Despite the huge financial incentive, KSI opted against moving forward.
Now, owning a boxing promotion, a football team and having his influencer and musician career to run, he said his short-lived boxing career is done.
