Jacob Rose, 19, who has played at Hornsey Cricket Club since the age of seven, managed to take all the wickets against Highgate Cricket Club.

He finished with impressive figures of 18.1-1-57-10.

The young left-arm spinner bowled unchanged against the visitors, who managed a score of 183 in response to Hornsey's 249-5 dec.

The club's president, Chris Waite, confirmed that this was the first time in living memory that a bowler had taken all 10 wickets in an innings.

He presented Jacob with the match ball.

Hornsey Cricket Club was founded in 1870 and is located in Crouch End.

The club, whose first XI play in the Premier Division of the Middlesex County Cricket League, runs all age group coaching for boys and girls and fields six teams at weekends.
