The Indian cricket team A side is all set to visit Sri Lanka this month to take part in a ODI tri-series, featuring India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A sides.
BCCI had announced the India A squad for the tri-series last month and had named Mumbai Indians and Indian T20I side star Tilak Varma as the captain.
Rajasthan Royals sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also been called up to the A side after a sensational performance in the IPL 2026 campaign, where he won the Orange Cap and MVP award.
All the matches of the ODI tri-series will be played in Dambulla. The tri-series is set to kick off on June 9, with the hosts taking on India.
