Ketteringham Hall Cricket Club, near Wymondham, received planning approval from South Norfolk Council for an extension to its pavilion on Church Road.

The improvements will upgrade facilities for both players and visitors.

Plans submitted to the council earlier this year included floor plans and elevations detailing the proposed changes.

The scheme will create three new rooms with showers, toilets and a changing room.

Ketteringham Hall Cricket Club operates within the grounds of Ketteringham Hall and regularly hosts matches and club events throughout the cricket season.

Construction can now begin on the expanded clubhouse.

The club was formed in the 1990s, and in 2006 a completely new pitch was created out of an overgrown field in the grounds of Ketteringham Hall.
