PROVIDENCE — The defending Northern Utah League champions showed why they remain one of the league's elite teams Tuesday night.

Behind a combined no-hitter and timely hitting throughout the lineup, the Smithfield Blue Sox rolled to a 10-0, six-inning run-rule victory over the Providence Wolverines at Zollinger Park.
