Delhi Capitals maintained their wining run in IPL 2027 as they beat Mumbai Indians by six wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Mumbai. Put into bat, Mumbai struggled to score big and managed 162 for six, Delhi struggled at the start, but paved their way to easy win.

Mumbai lost Ryan Rickelton early and Tilak Varma too bagged a duck, which left Mumbai reeling at 18 for two. But, it was Rohit Sharma (35) and stand-in captain Suryakumar Yadav (51) steadied the ship.

On a pitch that looked slow, the Sharma-Yadav duo added 53 runs for third wicket. Mumbai kept losing wickets at regular intervals, but Yadav hit a valiant half-century to keep the runs flowing.

Naman Dhir (28) and Mitchell Santner (18*) made handy contributions as Mumbai finished with 162 for six.

KL Rahul’s poor run for Delhi continued as he managed just one and things got worse for Delhi when Nitish Rana got run out. With team under pressure, Pathum Nissanka (44) and Sameer Rizvi (90) joined hands and bailed the team out of trouble, adding 66 runs for third wicket.

 Rizvi hit his second half-century of the season and kept his team in the hunt. David Miller (21 not out:18b, 4x4) played his part as well ad Delhi chased the target with six wickets in hand.
