The game was played in Kilgetty, and Whitland chose to bat first upon winning the toss.

They scored 162-6 from their 22 overs and made a good start with Kevin Pearce and Dylan Blain sharing 52 runs for the first wicket.

Blain scored 22 but was then bowled by Llew Jones.

Geraint Jones hit a four and a six in his quickfire 12 before also falling to Jones.

Pearce made his way to a score of 42 with six fours, but he was then caught by Jamie McCormack off the bowling of Jones to leave Whitland on 98-3.

Gethin Scourfield and Scott Newton then shared 47 runs for the fourth wicket.

Newton hit two fours and three sixes in his score of 29 from 12 balls, but he was then bowled by Ben Quartermaine.

Scourfield had hit four fours and two sixes in his score of 48 before he was run out late on.

Whitland added two more to their total, setting Narberth the goal of 163 to win the game.

Narberth made a steady start to their reply with Loui Davies scoring 19 before falling with the score on 28.

Shay Norcross and Jamie McCormack then shared 43 runs for the second wicket.

McCormack hit one four and two sixes in his score of 28, but he was then caught by Scott Newton off the bowling of Matthew Davies.

That sparked a collapse, with Norcross also falling to Davies on a score of 15.

That reduced Narberth to 74-3, and with the next ball, it was 74-4 as Rhodri Dyer was run out.

In the next over, Wayne Howells caught and bowled Ben Quartermaine and then trapped Kyle Williams LBW two balls later.

That spell of five wickets in nine balls had left Narberth reeling on 75-6.

Llew Jones and Lewis Hough tried to rescue the innings, sharing 20 runs for the seventh wicket, but Whitland struck again.

Hough was caught and bowled by Davies, and in the next over, Howells trapped Jordan Howell LBW and bowled Ryan Williams with the next ball to reduce Narberth to 96-9.

Jones had scored 22, but he was last to go after being dismissed by Davies.

It was an excellent win for Whitland, and they will now look forward to the Harrison Allen final on Saturday, August 29.
