Dutch Men’s Cricket Team to Compete at T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka
The Dutch men’s cricket team is preparing for a February trip to India and Sri Lanka as they compete on the global stage at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Women’s cricket
The women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in Nepal in January 2026.
The Netherlands qualified for the World Cup qualifier in August 2025 by finishing second.
Participants in the Women's World Cup qualifier will be Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Nepal, the Netherlands, PNG, Scotland, Thailand, the USA, and Zimbabwe.
The top four teams will advance to the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026.
Bangladesh, Scotland, and Ireland are considered favorites to qualify, but the Netherlands is certainly a strong contender for a top-four position.
This would mark the Dutch women's first appearance at a World Cup in the T20 format.

- January 22, 2026 AM vs Nepal Upper Mulpani Cricket Stadium

Men’s cricket
Last summer, the Dutch men’s team qualified for the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka in February 2026. Twenty teams will participate in that World Cup.
The Netherlands' most special match will be on February 18 against host nation India at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, a stadium with a capacity of 132,000 spectators.
