The franchise has structured its overseas recruitment around player availability, with different players joining the squad during separate stages of the tournament.

Hassan Khan and Hunain Shah will be available for the entire competition and are expected to join the squad from the beginning of the campaign. Their availability provides the Kingsmen with a settled all-round option and a pace bowler capable of contributing throughout the tournament.

Shayan Jahangir and Tayyab Arif will also join the team for the opening phase of the season, completing the overseas group for the early fixtures.

The contingent will change from August 19, when Saim Ayub, Maaz Sadaqat and Usman Khan become available. They will take the places initially occupied by Jahangir and Arif, adding considerable batting firepower during the latter stages of the tournament.

Maaz Sadaqat is a left-handed batting all-rounder regarded as one of Pakistan’s most promising young white-ball players. An aggressive top-order batter who can also bowl left-arm orthodox spin, Sadaqat has represented Pakistan at ODI level and impressed across domestic and franchise competitions, including the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament.

Saim Ayub arrives as one of the most prominent names in the Kingsmen squad. The Pakistan international is an explosive left-handed opener known for his attacking stroke play and ability to improvise. He has developed into an important player for Pakistan across formats and can also provide an additional off-spin option.

Usman Khan strengthens the middle order and offers another wicketkeeping option. The right-handed Pakistan international has established himself as a dangerous hitter in franchise cricket, with the ability to transform an innings over a short period.

Hassan Khan is a versatile all-rounder who combines lower-middle-order hitting with slow left-arm orthodox bowling. His experience across several international T20 competitions should provide the Kingsmen with greater balance and flexibility throughout the campaign.

Hunain Shah adds pace to the bowling attack. The right-arm medium-fast bowler has earned recognition for his composure in franchise cricket and can operate with both the new ball and during the closing stages of an innings.

Shayan Jahangir will provide international experience during the opening phase of the competition. The United States wicketkeeper-batter has featured across franchise tournaments and offers reliability with the bat and behind the stumps.

Tayyab Arif completes the overseas group. The right-handed batter progressed through Pakistan’s Under-19 pathway and has built a strong reputation in domestic cricket. His early-season opportunity with the Kingsmen will give him a chance to make an impact on the CPL stage.

With the seven overseas players joining a core of West Indian talent, the Jamaica Kingsmen have assembled a squad designed to maintain depth throughout CPL 2026. Further squad updates are expected as the tournament approaches.
