Hardik Pandya Is Expected to Bowl All 10 Overs in 2027 ODI World Cup; How Is He Preparing?
The ODI World Cup is in late 2027 in South Africa and one area of focus will be allrounder Hardik Pandya. Hardik is expected to bowl his full quota of overs and has reportedly increased his workload to prepare for the ICC event. Because of his injury-prone nature, Hardik has not pushed himself much in the preparatory stage.
Hardik Pandya to Bowl Full Quota in 2027 ODI World Cup?
As per a TOI report, the team management expects Hardik to bowl the full 10 overs in the World Cup. One must remember that he is also a primary batter and one of the main fielders in the side. So Hardik is crucial in three departments in Team India.

The captain may end up bowling him for 6-7 overs in most matches. But he should be available if the captain needs more from him," the source also said.

Hardik Pandya Increasing His Workload
“Hardik has been increasing his workload. He has worked on his action to bowl in-swingers as well without compromising on pace. He feels his body is ready to cope with the rigours of bowling 10 overs in ODIs," the source continued.
The ODI Numbers of Hardik Pandya
Hardik was part of India’s 2019 and 2023 campaigns. He played the whole of 2019 when India lost in the semis but was out injured early on in the 2023 edition when India lost in the final. In 94 ODIs, Hardik has taken 91 wickets with a best of 4/24. Not to mention 1904 runs in 68 innings with an average of 32.82 that includes 11 50s. His personal best is 92 not out.
