Afghanistan are going to enjoy ‘home’ advantage when they ‘host’ India in September in a historic three-match T20I series in New Delhi. The games will be played on September 13, 15 and 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Yes, you read that right, India will be hosted by Afghanistan on Indian soil.

The Real Story

So how is this possible? It’s because Afghanistan have been playing in India since 2015. The BCCI and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACV) signed a Memorandum of Understanding back then and India has been the adopted home of the Afghanistan cricket team since. But Afghanistan have not hosted India yet. No they will.

"Definitely, we will try to make it a memorable one," said Sharma speaking Exclusively to Sports Now.
