Sony LIV shared a clip on ‘X’ showing Rohit unplugging the mic wire and joking about being repeatedly asked for re‑takes during the shoot by the show makers. It was the former India captain’s T‑shirt that grabbed all the attention, emblazoned with the words “non‑committal?”

Eagle‑eyed fans quickly noticed Rohit Sharma’s T‑shirt, interpreting it as a subtle dig at chief selector Ajit Agarkar. He had earlier made comments about Rohit and Kohli's future in the lead-up to the 2027 World Cup.

What did Agarkar say about Rohit & Kohli?

The instance dates back to India's ODI tour of Australia in 2025; Agarkar said that Rohit and Kohli were non-committal about the World Cup. At the same time, the Hitman was dropped as ODI captain, with Shubman Gill named his successor.

“Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are non-committal about the 2027 World Cup," said the chairman of the senior men's selection committee.
