Rajasthan Royals registered their second win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. They beat the Gujarat Titans by six runs at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Opting to bat, Rajasthan posted a total of 210 for six, which Gujarat almost chased but fell short in the end.

Rajasthan had a brilliant start to their innings with openers in Vaibhav Suryavanshi (31) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (55) slamming Gujarat bowlers all over the park. The two southpaws added 70 runs for the opening stand, which put Gujarat under pressure.

After Suryavanshi was out, Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel (75) took the momentum forward and added 56 runs for the second wicket. While the middle order struggled to score runs, Jurel batted till the last over and hammered a brilliant half-century. Thanks to his innings, Rajasthan posted a total of 210 for six.

Gujarat had a great start to their chase with Sai Sudharsan (73) and Kumar Kushagra etching an opening stand of 78 runs. Their brilliant start kept Gujarat right on the track. Jos Buttler (26) also looked in good touch.

But Ravi Bishnoi tilted the game in favour of Rajasthan with his four quick wickets to leave Gujarat at 161 for seven. With Rajasthan almost closing the game, Rashid Khan (24) and Kagiso Rabada (24*) gave a real scare to Rajasthan and took the game to the last over.

But Tushar Deshpande held his nerves and defended 11 runs in the last over to help his team win their second game.
