The International Cricket Council has announced the nominees for the ICC Player of the Month awards for August on Thursday, September 10.

The three shortlisted players in both men’s and women’s categories are selected based on their performances throughout the month of August.

ICC announces Player of the Month nominees for August; Ollie Robinson features

Sri Lanka batter Sonal Dinusha, England fast bowler Ollie Robinson, and Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud have been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award in the men’s category.

In the women’s category, Thailand stars Suleeport Laomi and Nannapat Koncharoenkai have been shortlisted, while Lucy Barnett has created history by becoming the first player from the Isle of Man to be nominated for the ICC Player of the Month award.
