India U-19 captain Ayush Mhatre was involved in a verbal confrontation with opposition players after getting out during his side’s clash with Pakistan in the final of the U-19 Asia Cup 2025 at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai.
Mhatre was dismissed for two runs from just seven balls after drilling Ali Raza to mid-off in the third over of India’s knock. He was then seen exchanged heated words with his Pakistani opponents as he exited the field of play.
Mhatre has endured a torrid time at the U-19 Asia Cup, managing just 65 runs from five outings in the tournament.
Earlier in the day, Sameer Minhas put the Indian bowling attack to the sword, scoring 172 from 119 balls as Pakistan racked up 347 for eight in its allocation of 50 overs.
