The 6th match of IPL 2026 has two teams who lost first up going head to head. Bowling was the concern for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) heading into the season, and that came to fruition in the early part of the tournament with both losing easily despite making 200+ scores.

After a poor start against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), SRH did well to make 201/9 courtesy of the in-form Ishan Kishan and talented Aniket Verma. However, their bowlers did not fire a shot after dismissing Phil Salt early, with RCB reaching the target with a mammoth 26 balls to spare.
