They moved 13 points clear of second-placed Ilkley after beating New Rover by 76 runs, with 20 points still available.

Rawdon were sent in and scored 211. Opener Jake Hodges made 36 and wicketkeeper Will Joyce 48, sharing 51 for the second wicket.

The home side then slipped from 75-1 to 85-4. Captain James Doidge steadied the innings with 53, adding 42 with Joyce.

Andrew Doidge made 20 and Henry Scanlan 16 as Rawdon passed 200.

James Doidge faced 68 balls, hitting five fours and a six. Joyce’s 48 came from 49 deliveries and included three fours and three sixes.

New Rover reached 135 in reply. Nathan Brand made 57, but change bowlers Andrew Doidge, with 4-48, and Joe Smith, with 3-36, took most of the wickets.

Ilkley kept the title race alive with a six-wicket win over Bolton Villas.

Bolton Villas were bowled out for 108 after choosing to bat. Nick Schofield took 4-30, while Jesse Willmott, Paul Doer and Tom Rowell took two wickets each.

Ilkley completed the chase in the 28th over. Alex Bailey was unbeaten on 26, while Alex Quaife made 21 and three other batters reached double figures.

Menston remain sixth on 245 points after beating Alwoodley by 53 runs. JH Johnson led the way with 122 from 99 balls, including 17 fours and two sixes.

Johnson added 74 with Charlie O’Hara and 92 with Ollie Holder as Menston made 271. Alwoodley were dismissed for 218, recovering from 39-4 before losing their final six wickets. Josh Young took 5-57 and Johnson 3-35.

Menston are now 11 points behind fifth-placed Olicanian, who lost at home to Bingley Congs. Olicanian scored 241 after choosing to bat, with Jack Allport making 55 and Danny Morgan 34.

Congs won by four wickets in the 48th over after recovering from 74-1 to 107-4. Five bowlers took one wicket each.

Rawdon visit Congs on Saturday, while Ilkley travel to New Rover. Menston host Bardsey and Olicanian visit Adel.

Pool’s rise in the Premier Division continued with a two-wicket win at champions Otley, their fifth victory in a row.

Otley fell from 146-3 to 189 all out, Alex Atkinson making 62 and Josh Atkinson 21. Charlie Bradbourne took 5-57.

Logan Duval made 74 for Pool, who reached their target in the 43rd over. Tom Lester scored 24, Tom Watson 22 and Syd Wood 25 not out. Alex Ross took 5-64.

Addingham moved above Burley into fifth after beating Horsforth Hall Park by 72 runs. Addingham made 241-9, with Ted Haggas unbeaten on 76 and Jacob Parker 54. Hall Park were bowled out for 169 in the 46th over.

Burley lost by 46 runs at Collingham. Collingham scored 158 before Burley were dismissed for 112. Cayden Wilson made 59 and took 4-25, while Harry Watson also claimed four wickets.

In Division Two, champions Green Lane beat Rodley by 163 runs. Green Lane made 210, then dismissed Rodley for 47 in 20.1 overs. Benn Hallas and Neil Britton took five wickets each.

Guiseley beat Horsforth by 123 runs. Guiseley scored 247-6 before Horsforth were bowled out for 124. Rob Thomas took 5-43 and Aniket Rana 4-23.

Skipton beat Leeds Modernians by 50 runs, while the final fixtures include Green Lane at Harden and Guiseley hosting Old Leodiensians.
