MotoGP Track Activity at Phillip Island Postponed Due to Unstable Weather

The MotoGP schedule at the Red Bull Grand Prix of Australia has been altered because of unstable weather conditions at Phillip Island, the FIM has announced.

On-track activity for the MotoGP class has been postponed until conditions are expected to improve, at around 11:00 local time, or 3:00 in Portugal. The delay is due to reduced visibility, which has prevented the medical helicopter from flying.

Once conditions allow, the first session to run will be the warm-up for the MotoGP class. The FIM said further updates will be provided as soon as they become available.

The programme for the remainder of the day has not been confirmed and may change depending on how the weather develops.
