The list of 146 players shortlisted for the auction was released earlier this month. As many as 119 Indian players (22 capped and 97 uncapped) will compete for 20 slots, while 27 overseas players will be following the auction, with only seven slots available.

The auction will begin with a full round of capped players across all disciplines - batters, all-rounders, wicketkeepers, fast bowlers and spinners, in that specific order. The same will be followed for the uncapped players before the accelerated round gets underway.

Only two players have registered for the highest base price of INR 50 lakh, while four cricketers have entered at the base price of INR 40 lakh. The rest of the players have kept their base prices at INR 30 lakh and below.
