The 36-year-old seamer, who has been with the Bears since 2013 and was awarded a benefit year in 2024, will initially link up with Worcestershire on a two-week loan ahead of the 2026 County Championship season. The arrangement could be extended further subject to agreement between both clubs.

Bears head coach Ian Westwood said: “Olly's unfortunately missed out for this first match with us. He's somebody that wants to bowl and wants to play. So when Worcester enquired about him, he was keen to go and get some first-class cricket and get some valuable overs under his belt, so I think it's a win for everybody.”
