Hay-on-Wye’s Will Price leads County Times Fantastic Five
Guilsfield’s Twinkle Jose, Alberbury centurion Oliver Pope, Montgomery II batter Andrew Barker and Bishop’s Castle bowler Edgar Whately complete the selection after match-winning performances.

Price made 110 as Hay amassed 346-5 from 45 overs after electing to bat against Presteigne.
John Barry finished unbeaten on 76, Wayne Evans made 52 and Gabriel Moore 31 not out before Hay bowled Presteigne out for 190. Moore, John Sly and Thomas Davies each took three wickets.
Twinkle Jose, Guilsfield
Jose struck an unbeaten 119 as Guilsfield cruised to a nine-wicket Division Three win at Column.
After Sajeev Johnson Mable took 4-30 to help dismiss Column for 164, Jose dominated the reply. He shared an unbroken 166-run second-wicket partnership with Dave Williams, who finished 32 not out, as Guilsfield reached 166-1 in 16.3 overs.
Oliver Pope, Alberbury
Pope made 106 from 75 balls to inspire Alberbury’s five-run win over Wroxeter and Uppington at Pecknall Farm.
Alberbury had slipped to 82-5 before Pope rebuilt the innings, adding 63 with Jayden Joseph and receiving support from Andrew Dale’s 33. His knock helped the hosts reach 233, with Lara Jones’ 3-27 then key as Wroxeter were bowled out for 228.
Andrew Barker, Montgomery
Barker carried his bat for an unbeaten 101 from 100 balls as Montgomery IIs swept to a nine-wicket victory over Much Wenlock.
His innings included 13 fours and three sixes, while Tom Corfield made 58 in an opening partnership of 171. Montgomery reached 189-1 in 28.3 overs after restricting Much Wenlock to 188-6, despite Greg Jones’ unbeaten 91.
Edgar Whately, Bishop’s Castle
Whately returned outstanding figures of 7-17 as Bishop’s Castle dismissed Welshpool II for 38 in Division Five.
Supported by Dave Morris’ 2-21, Whately left Welshpool 19-5 before the innings ended in 16 overs. Chris Cooksey then made an unbeaten 19 as Castle completed an eight-wicket win, reaching 39-2 in nine overs.
